The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Business Development Manager – Restaurants to grow EatClub on the ground. This is a field‑first role with full ownership of a territory. You will be in the field five days per week, managing the entire sales process end‑to‑end including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, and onboarding venues. Sales cycles are short (0–14 days), the pace is rapid, and results are highly visible.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow a defined sales territory
  • Meet restaurant owners and operators face‑to‑face, five days per week
  • Prospect through walk‑ins, cold calls, and scheduled meetings
  • Build and manage a high‑volume, fast‑moving pipeline
  • Deliver clear, confident in‑person pitches
  • Negotiate and close commercial agreements efficiently
  • Onboard new venues and set them up for early wins
  • Partner with internal teams to support long‑term venue performance

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong ambition to build a long‑term career in sales
  • Competitive mindset and drive to be a top performer
  • Full ownership of targets, territory, and outcomes
  • Comfort in fast‑paced, target‑driven environments
  • Resilience and confidence hearing “no”
  • Discipline with time, activity, and pipeline management
  • Belief that effort should directly correlate to income
  • Willingness to be on the road daily
  • Flexibility to work around venue service times, including evenings and peak periods
  • Openness to travel to support new market launches, including internationally

Open to People New to Sales

We’re open to candidates new to tech sales who bring high‑performance, transferable experience, including:

  • Sales professionals transitioning into tech sales
  • Professional or elite athletes who are competitive, disciplined, and coachable
  • Hospitality professionals who understand restaurant operations and have strong venue relationships

This Role May Be a Strong Fit If

  • Have a growth mindset and actively seek feedback to improve
  • Are naturally curious and ask thoughtful questions to understand customers and the business
  • Communicate confidently in your personal and professional life
  • Learn fast, adapt quickly, and apply coaching immediately
  • Are motivated by a competitive, performance‑based environment
  • Want to build a long‑term career in sales within a scale‑up business

Maybe This Role Is Not for You If

  • You prefer desk‑based or fully remote work
  • You’re uncomfortable with cold outreach or face‑to‑face selling
  • You avoid targets, metrics, or performance accountability
  • You need highly structured days with little autonomy
  • You’re not open to flexible hours tied to hospitality service times

Why You Will Love EatClub

  • Uncapped commission with strong earning potential
  • Clear career progression as EatClub scales in the UK and internationally
  • Exposure to new market launches and international expansion
  • High autonomy and ownership over your territory
  • A collaborative, high‑performance, results‑driven culture
  • Staff discounts and dining vouchers to enjoy through EatClub

If this sounds like you, apply and tell us your story! We love a good cover letter. The more you, the better.
