A Day-in-a-Life of our General Manager UK
At EatClub, we value high-growth and high-performance, which means we need a mastermind who thrives in the intersection of people, market growth and operations to lead our UK team in our next stage of success. The team will look to you to give them direction, drive our values and steer them into cementing our local footprint with our partners. Restaurants and partners will see you as the stable hand guiding their growth along ours. You will be busy every day growing our customer bases, buttressing our industry relationships and spearheading strategic market decisions. This role is not for the faint of heart, it flies high in strategic, blue skies decision-making, and digs deep into hands-on delivery alongside the team. You will also be collaborating closely with our Global Leadership team in Australia and representing EatClub as one of the key players in the industry.
On any given week, you will be:
- Collaborating with the UK sales and partnerships leads by reviewing the pipeline, helping unblock a complex deal, or deciding how to approach a key partner.
- Spending time coaching one of your team leaders by helping them navigate a performance challenge or figure out how to scale their part of the business.
- Meeting with a potential partner or industry association to explore how we expand our presence across the UK ecosystem.
- Joining a strategy call with our CEO and global leadership team to discuss market insights from the UK and shape upcoming priorities.
- Stepping into an operational issue that’s slowing the team down, whether it’s hiring, resourcing, processes, or something unexpected in the London office.
- Representing the company at an industry event or networking opportunity, building relationships with clinics, partners, and potential customers.
- Creating clarity and direction for the team as they navigate ambitious goals, by providing decision-making frameworks, information sharing practices and team rituals.

- Planning and executing city launches by identifying key UK markets and coordinating sales, partnerships, marketing, and operations to successfully introduce and expand EatClub in new locations.
- Driving marketing and communications efforts through strategic partnerships with key venues and hospitality groups, running targeted campaigns, and participating in industry events to boost brand awareness and establish EatClub as a major player in the UK hospitality scene.
- Leading recruitment and team development initiatives to build and support a skilled team capable of sustaining rapid growth across the UK.
