As part of the Eataly London team, you'll contribute to our mission of sharing the rich flavours and traditions of Italy with our guests while fostering a vibrant atmosphere for friends and families to gather.
As a Server/Waiter/Waitress, you will coordinate the service station and communicate with both front and back-of-house to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. Your commitment to providing exceptional service, coupled with your extensive product knowledge, will ensure that our guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. Successful candidates will have experience working in restaurants with table service and be confident in managing their own section.
What You Will Be Doing...- Greet guests and present them with the menu.
- Inform guests of specials, menu changes, answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- Consistently maintain outstanding knowledge of all food and beverage menu items.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and relay to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS system.
- Prepare the bill when asked, present, accept payment, and provide change or credit card receipt.
- At least 2 years of experience working as a waiter in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.
- Knowledgeable in food safety and allergens.
- Confident in making menu recommendations and taking accurate food and drinks orders.
- Good knowledge of Italian wine and cuisine is an advantage.
- Ability to be flexible and work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Willingness to support multiple teams.
- Available for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Valid right to work in the UK.
- Fluent in English.
