Earnings: up to £43,000 inclusive of service charge (base salary £36,000) - paid overtime

Contract type: Permanent, full-time, latest finishing time 22:30–23:00, 40 hours
Role: Senior Sous Chef in Terra by Carlo Cracco restaurant; supervises back-of-house team, prepares, cooks, and plates to Eataly’s high standards.
Responsibilities- Work as part of the back-of-house team in the Terra by Carlo Cracco restaurant, overseeing other chefs.
- Prepare, cook, and plate items to Eataly’s high standards.
- Lead daily kitchen activities and support senior kitchen staff.
- At least 2 years of experience at Sous Chef level in a high-quality restaurant or hotel.
- Knowledge of fresh food cooking, strong knife skills, and understanding of Italian cuisine basics.
- Experience with grills; knowledge in preparation of meat, fish, and pasta dishes.
- Strong leadership skills; ability to stay calm during busy service periods.
- Experience working with fresh ingredients; availability to work flexible rota including mornings, evenings, weekends.
- Knowledge of high-quality Italian food and dishes.
- People management skills; ability to set clear objectives, motivate, and monitor progress.
- Willingness to support multiple teams.
- Fluent in English; right to work in the UK.
- No late-night finishing; latest finish time is 23:00.
- 40-hour contract; overtime is paid.
