Position Role: Experienced server/waiter/waitress

Earnings: £13.13 service charge, up to £16.50/h

Location: Liverpool Street, London, EC2M 3YD.

Contract type: Permanent, minimum 30 hours per week, shifts falling between 9 am and 11 pm.

We are looking for an experienced and talented waiter to join our front-of-house team in our outdoor terraced restaurant. As a Server/Waiter/Waitress, you will coordinate the service station and communicate with back-of-house to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. Successful candidates will have experience working in restaurants with table service and be confident in managing their own section.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Greet guests and present them with the menu.
  • Inform guests of specials, menu changes, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Consistently maintain outstanding knowledge of all food and beverage menu items.
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests and relay them to the kitchen staff and the bartender using a POS system.
  • Prepares the bill when asked, presents, accepts payment, and provides change or a credit card receipt.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience working as a waiter in a formal restaurant environment.
  • Knowledgeable in food safety and allergens.
  • Confident in making menu recommendations and taking accurate food and drinks orders.
  • Ability to be flexible and work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Willingness to support multiple teams.
  • Available for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • Valid right to work in the UK.
  • Fluent in English.
