Position Earnings: £13.96 + 10% quarterly bonus
Location: London, EC2M 3YD
Contract type: Permanent, 40 hours, shifts falling between 6am and 9pm, 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays
We're looking for an experienced Market Supervisor to join our busy grocery team. If you have a background in high volume retail or grocery environments and enjoy leading teams to deliver excellent results, this role could be ideal for you.
What you'll do:
- Oversee daily operations in the grocery department, ensuring stock is received, stored, and displayed correctly.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and health & safety standards.
- Support with daily stock ordering and replenishment based on customer demand.
- Lead and motivate your team to deliver efficient, high quality service.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience working as a supervisor within a high-volume retail department or grocery stores.
- Someone with fantastic communication skills and able to lead, motivate, and inspire a team.
- Excellent organisational skills and can-do attitude.
- Experience receiving deliveries or working in a stockroom is beneficial but not essential.
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and available for early morning start at 5 am.
- Willingness to be flexible and support multiple teams.
This role is full-time, and successful candidates will be available to work flexibly across the week between 5 am and 9 pm, as we cannot accommodate fixed shifts.
