Located in the heart of the City, Eataly London is a diverse, multi-outlet operation that harmoniously combines retail, restaurants, bars, and various other departments to create an exceptional guest experience. As part of the Eataly London team, you'll contribute to our mission of sharing the rich flavours and traditions of Italy with our guests while fostering a vibrant atmosphere for friends and families to gather.
Our café is the beating heart of our store. Situated on the ground floor of our Liverpool Street location, it’s a bustling spot where we serve high-quality Italian coffee, tea, freshly prepared pastries, and ice cream. As one of our Baristas, you will use manual coffee machines and craft amazing drinks for our loyal customers. The café is in partnership with Illy, Eataly's official coffee supplier across Europe.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING...
- Prepare and serve authentic Italian espresso, coffee, and other café drinks.
- Provide guests with exceptional service and detailed product information, such as the coffee blend or preparation description.
- Cover the tills as needed, taking orders and processing payments.
- Ensuring the café is fully stocked with all needed items.
Please note that shifts for this role will fall between 6 am and 11 pm; as such, we require flexibility to cover shifts within these times. We don’t offer set shifts. Successful candidates must be available flexibly across the week and full-time.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR...
- Previous Barista experience in a high-volume establishment with a manual coffee machine is a must.
- An outgoing and vibrant personality aimed at making our guests feel welcome.
- Flexibility to work across mornings, evenings, bank holidays and weekends.
- Availability to work flexibly between 6 am and 11 pm, as we cannot offer set shifts or days off.
- Right to work in the UK.
