: Permanent, core hours Monday to Friday but with the occasional evening or weekend shift in case of specific events

The Catering Specialist is responsible for driving the growth of Eataly London's corporate catering business by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional customer experiences from enquiry through to execution.

This role combines business development, account management and operational coordination, working closely with internal teams to ensure every catering order reflects Eataly's quality, authenticity and service standards.

  • Commercial Growth & Business Development
  • Responsible for driving the commercial growth of Eataly London's Catering business through proactive business development and client acquisition.
  • Proactively generates new business opportunities within the London corporate market through networking, prospecting, referrals and targeted outreach.
  • Builds, develops and maintains long-term relationships with new and existing corporate clients, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Identifies, qualifies and secures new catering opportunities whilst developing a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Achieves and exceeds agreed sales targets, KPIs and revenue objectives through a proactive, results-driven approach.
  • Identifies opportunities to increase revenue through upselling, cross-selling, repeat business and new commercial initiatives.
  • Develops a thorough understanding of Eataly's catering products and services to confidently recommend tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Prepares tailored proposals, quotations and presentations that maximise commercial opportunities whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Negotiates pricing, terms and agreements in line with Company guidelines, ensuring profitable outcomes for the business.
  • Monitors market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and continuously improve commercial performance.
  • Represents Eataly at networking events, exhibitions, food tastings, trade shows and corporate functions to promote the brand and generate new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience in catering, events or hospitality sales.
  • Flexible to travel to client sites and support the delivery and presentation of catering offerings when required.
  • Hands-on approach with the flexibility to support operational delivery when required.
  • Proven ability to generate new business, build client relationships and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify revenue growth opportunities through upselling and account development.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with fluent spoken and written English (Italian advantageous).
  • Flexible to work onsite, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Valid right to work in the UK.
