Server/Waiter/Waitress

Role: Experienced server/waiter/waitress

Earnings: up to £16.50h inclusive of service charge + tips

Location: Liverpool Street, London, EC2M 3YD.

Contract type: Permanent, 30 hours per week, shifts falling between 9am and 11pm.

We are looking for an experienced and talented waiter to join our front of house team in ourPasta & Pizzarestaurants. As a Waiter/Waitress/Server you will coordinate the service station and communicate with both front and back-of-house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. Your commitment to providing exceptional service, coupled with your extensive product knowledge, will ensure that our guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. Successful candidates will have experience working in restaurants with table service and confident in managing their own section.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING…

• Greet guests and present them with the menu.
• Inform guests of specials, menu changes, answer questions regarding food and beverages.
• Consistently maintain outstanding knowledge of all food and beverage menu items.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests and relays to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS system.
• Prepares the bill when asked, presents, accepts payment, and provides change or credit card receipt.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working as a waiter in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.
• Knowledgeable in food safety and allergens.
• Confident in making menu recommendations and taking accurate food and drinks orders.
• Good knowledge of Italian wine and cuisine is an advantage.
• Ability to be flexible and work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Willingness to support multiple teams.
• Available for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Valid right to work in the UK.
• Fluent in English.
