We are currently recruiting for an experienced Retail/Market Supervisor to join our grocery department. This role will be most suitable for a candidate with a background within grocery stores or high-volume retail departments.
As a Market Supervisor you will take a senior role in the grocery team to ensure product being delivered into the store is accounted for, moved to the correct location, and stored appropriately, as well as ensuring adherence to food and Health & Safety legislation. You will be supporting with completing daily stock orders in line with customers' shopping habits, whilst maximising effectiveness of the team.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 1 year of experience working as a supervisor within a high-volume retail department or grocery stores.
- Someone with fantastic communication skills and able to lead, motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organisational skills and can-do attitude.
- Experience receiving deliveries or working in a stockroom is beneficial but not essential.
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays and available for early morning start at 5am.
- Willingness to be flexible and support multiple teams. This role is full time, and successful candidates will be available to work flexible across the week between 5am and 9pm as we cannot accommodate fixed shifts.
