As a Sous Chef, you will work as part of the larger back-of-house team in our premium Terra by Carlo Cracco restaurant. You will play a senior role in daily kitchen activities, preparing, cooking, and plating food items to Eataly’s high standards while overseeing other chefs. Terra by Carlo Cracco is a traditional Italian grill restaurant in collaboration with renowned Master Chef Carlo Cracco.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working at a Junior Sous Chef level in a high-quality kitchen in either a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Knowledge of fresh food cooking, strong knife skills and a good understanding of the basics of Italian cuisine.
- Experience working with grills and knowledgeable in the preparation of meat, fish and pasta dishes.
- Strong leadership skills and able to keep calm during busy service periods.
- Working with fresh ingredients is a must.
- Availability to work flexibly according to a rota that will cover mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Knowledge of high-quality Italian food and dishes.
- People management skills, ability to set clear objectives, motivate and monitor progress.
- Willingness to be flexible and support multiple teams.
- Fluent in English.
