We're looking for a National Account Manager to join our team and help continue the momentum.
The Person
We are seeking an individual with grocery sales experience in FMCG, currently working as a National Account Manager for at least 2 years with full P&L responsibility. You should have excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and be able to work as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment. Proactivity, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential.
The Role
This role will manage the Morrisons account, one of our key strategic partners, and we have big plans for growth! Reporting to a Senior National Account Manager, you will have autonomy over the day-to-day running of one of our largest accounts.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships both internally (especially with our product and supply chain teams) and externally with customers.
- Take full ownership of the customer P&L, as well as manage internal forecasting, revenue, and profit.
- Develop customer plans and identify opportunities to profitably grow within your account.
- Use a needs-based, category-selling approach to drive revenue and market share growth.
- Create, agree on, and maintain responsibility for joint business plans.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience and success in a similar Commercial role.
- Experience managing a consistent customer P&L and a thorough understanding of retail supply chain and store-level execution.
- Experience with Grocery or High Street customers, experience with Asda – even better!
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work from our London office a minimum of 3 days a week, and able to travel to Leeds for customer meetings.
