Art & Design Lecturer – 14.8 hours per week (2 days per week) – (possible day combination is Tues & Thurs or Thurs & Friday or Tues & Friday) - up to £39,714.22 pro rata.

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Art & Design Lecturer to join them on a fixed term basis, to cover maternity leave. You will deliver:
- L1 UAL Diploma in Art, Design & Media
- L2 UAL Diploma in Art & Design
- L3 UAL Applied General Extended Diploma in Art & Design
About the role:
As the Art & Design Lecturer you will have the enthusiasm and drive to deliver these vocational programmes. Your role will include:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the curriculum and assessment requirements
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential
- Assess, review and record learner progress
- Maintain course and learner records
- Embed employment skills into the curriculum courses
To fulfil the role of Art & Design Lecturer you will have:
- Degree in relevant Art & Design subject (Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration or Photography)
- Experience of teaching in FE a distinct advantage
- Teaching qualifications – or be prepared to work towards this with their support
- Recent graduates and people looking for a career change may be considered
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and be skilled in the use of IT
