Our client is the only UK-wide charity dedicated to uniting for a life unlimited for everyone affected by cystic fibrosis. They are working towards a brighter future for everyone with cystic fibrosis (CF) by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.

Are you an experienced major donor fundraiser looking to take the next step in your career? Join a flexible, supportive and impact-driven organisation making a real difference for people with cystic fibrosis. They are seeking a skilled high-value fundraiser to lead their major donor programme for 12 months, covering maternity leave.

As part of their experienced Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships team, you will lead their major donor programme. Key responsibilities include:

  • Growing income through your own portfolio of senior high-net-worth individuals, cultivating new relationships and stewarding existing supporters.
  • Lead the implementation of the major donor fundraising strategy, including managing budgets and KPIs.
  • Leading the stewardship calendar: growing and developing their circle, crafting high-quality proposals, coordinating high-value events and shaping supporter communications.
  • Managing and supporting the major donor team.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the Trust to maximise opportunities for donor engagement.

To succeed in this role, you will bring experience of and a track record of securing major gifts, familiarity with donor databases/CRM, overseeing delivery of a major donor strategy and ideally line management.

This is a UK based role and offers a flexible location; however, if London office-based, a minimum of 40% working hours per week in the office is required. If home-based (within the UK), travel to London office will be required in line with business needs.
