£17–£20 per hour (DOE) | Full‑time | Luton, Bedfordshire

Our client is a long‑established, family‑owned precision engineering company with a reputation for producing high‑quality, complex components for the motorsport, food production and wider manufacturing sectors. As they continue to grow, they're looking for a skilled and motivated Quality Inspector Precision Engineering to join their team and help maintain the exceptional standards their customers rely on. What You'll Be Doing

  • Inspecting precision components and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Using precision measurement tools including micrometres, gauges, and CMM equipment
  • Recording inspection results accurately and ensuring all work meets customer specifications
  • Identifying defects, supporting root cause analysis, and maintaining accurate inspection records
  • Operating computerised inspection equipment
  • Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining ISO9001 quality standards

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in quality inspection within a precision engineering environment OR a strong engineering background with the willingness to train into a quality inspection role
  • Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T and metrology processes
  • Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO9001
