THE TEAM

The Proposition team is responsible for building and evolving easyJet's commercial proposition, creating a portfolio of products, services and partnerships that deliver strong customer value and sustainable revenue growth. Ancillary revenue is a critical part of easyJet's success, and the team plays a central role in improving current performance while developing the next generation of products and experiences.

Working closely with Trading, Digital, Product, Marketing, Data, Finance, Operations and Legal, the team sits at the heart of easyJet's commercial agenda, shaping products and services that impact millions of customers every year.

THE ROLE

As Senior Proposition Specialist, you'll be responsible for owning the proposition vision, customer outcome and performance of a portfolio of ancillary propositions across the customer journey. This could include areas such as bags, seats, flexibility products and other revenue-generating customer propositions.

The Senior Proposition Specialist owns the proposition vision, customer outcome, commercial case and business requirements for their product area, working closely with Digital and Product teams to deliver customer and business value. This role is focused on translating commercial strategy into customer propositions and successful delivery. You'll improve commercial performance today while shaping and delivering proposition enhancements over a 12-18 month horizon. Managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, you'll combine customer insight, commercial analysis and market understanding to deliver measurable outcomes for both customers and the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for proposition performance and identifying opportunities to improve customer value, attachment and revenue growth through proposition development and optimisation.
  • Building, maintaining and delivering a prioritised proposition roadmap that balances immediate performance improvements with future proposition development.
  • Managing multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously, ensuring focus remains on the highest-value opportunities.
  • Leading proposition initiatives from concept and business case through to requirements definition, launch, optimisation and performance tracking.
  • Using customer insight, competitor analysis, market trends and commercial data to identify growth opportunities and support decision making.
  • Acting as the business owner for proposition initiatives, defining business requirements and customer outcomes, and driving cross-functional delivery across Trading, Digital, Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Legal teams.
  • Ensuring proposition content, customer communications and proposition policies remain clear, effective and aligned to the customer experience.
  • Presenting recommendations, commercial trade-offs and proposition strategies to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience within proposition development, product management, commercial management or a related commercial discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data, insight and customer behaviour into actions that improve performance.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a clear understanding of how customer propositions contribute to revenue growth and customer value.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing and collaborating across complex organisations.
  • A structured and proactive approach to problem solving, prioritisation and delivery.
  • Experience using customer insight, market analysis and experimentation to support proposition development and decision making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and present clear recommendations.
  • Experience within aviation would be beneficial, but we're equally interested in candidates from travel, hospitality, hotels, retail, e-commerce or other customer-focused commercial businesses.
  • Experience in revenue management, distribution, business change, strategy or broader commercial functions would be highly relevant.

PRACTICALITIES

This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
