Responsibilities
- Lead all financial planning activities for our crew establishment, including the Strategic Plan, annual Budget, and periodic forecasts.
- Ensure robust financial insight and alignment with business objectives, forecasting crew establishment related costs, unit costs of production, and key strategic performance indicators such as productivity and operational efficiency.
- Act as a trusted finance business partner, working closely with senior stakeholders to support decision-making during a period of significant transformation.
- Play a key role in the Crew Planning transformation, supporting the implementation of new technologies and enhanced processes.
- Provide data-driven crew analysis to optimise seasonal scheduling, partner with all OS&P areas to deliver value-creating initiatives, and develop high-quality financial reporting and performance dashboards.
- Lead and influence change in a strategically important area of the airline, providing financial challenge, insight, and commercial support to drive performance improvements.
The Team
This is a key senior management role within our Finance team, responsible for a team of two, looking after financial planning and analysis for easyJet's crew establishment of over 15,000 pilots and cabin crew.
Requirements of the Role
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 10 years post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in managing and developing talent and driving high performance.
- Excellent project management skills and strong leadership and communication ability.
- Demonstrated track record of business partnering in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Experience operating at senior manager level and supporting Directors.
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships across the business.
- Strong decision-making skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Self-starter with high levels of motivation and enthusiasm.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Practicalities
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
