Team
The role is situated within a team of cybersecurity professionals and involves close collaboration with the wider business to embed Digital Safety principles as fundamentally as Aircraft Safety. This entails alignment with Operational, Commercial, Regulatory, and Audit functions. The role requires working closely with the Senior Digital Safety Risk Manager, the Head of Digital Safety Assurance, and the Technical Security and Business Partner functions to support the Digital Safety vision. The Cyber Risk Assurance Analyst role involves using data and analytical skills to identify, measure, and track cybersecurity risks within easyJet. This role requires collaboration across business areas to gather information that enables the creation of risk reports, supporting decision-making and compliance efforts.
Job Accountabilities
- Leverage the Digital Safety risk framework to identify, analyze, and manage cyber risks, demonstrating in-depth knowledge and experience.
- Engage with technical IT and business functions to gather comprehensive risk-related information, demonstrating broad organizational understanding.
- Apply Digital Safety assurance processes to identify and register risks proactively and strategically.
- Collaborate with IT Quality and Risk functions to identify significant IT risks related to Digital Safety, demonstrating cross-functional teamwork.
- Report findings and risk treatment plans to senior management through appropriate forums.
- Present and communicate risk findings effectively at risk forums.
- Keep updated on the current threat landscape and assess its impact on risk likelihood.
- Provide education and mentorship on risk methodology across the company.
Supporting Risk and Assurance
- Track, manage, and report on risk, control, and deviation remediation activities.
- Assist in preparing materials for internal and external audits.
- Lead meetings, document key decisions, and maintain action logs.
- Support data governance and risk management related to information assets and exceptions.
- Compile compliance reports from control and information asset data.
