People Solutions Manager - Fixed Term Contract

What you\'ll be doing

The People Solutions Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of core People systems, processes, and data management, with a primary focus on compliance and operational excellence.

In this role, you’ll lead a team of specialists to ensure that HR systems—particularly Workday—are effectively maintained, continuously improved, and fully aligned with business needs. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the People Team, IT, Legal, and other partners to implement efficient, scalable, and compliant systems and processes. A critical part of the role is maintaining data accuracy, governance, and accessibility, ensuring smooth delivery of payroll, recruitment, and other key HR services. You’ll support ongoing improvements to the employee digital experience, manage change across systems and processes, and ensure all changes are well-governed, properly prioritised, and fully documented. Reporting to the Head of People Solutions and Change, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our people systems, balancing operational demands with a continuous improvement mindset—while fostering strong collaboration, high performance, and effective planning across the team and wider business.

You’ll bring deep experience in managing the day-to-day operation of core People systems like Workday, with a strong grasp of how to keep data processes efficient, accurate, and compliant. You\'re quick to identify and resolve issues, with a methodical approach to problem-solving that minimises disruption. Your sharp attention to detail ensures data quality across payroll, reporting, and compliance, while your ability to engage with stakeholders means systems and processes stay aligned with business goals. You know how to juggle competing priorities, plan effectively, and keep initiatives moving forward. Passionate about continuous improvement, you’ll challenge inefficiencies and help embed better ways of working. You’ll also bring confidence in leading a high-performing team, driving strong operational outcomes and fostering collaboration. Your experience with change management allows you to implement updates and enhancements smoothly, with minimal disruption. Whether managing data governance or optimising processes, you ensure our people systems are accurate, well-maintained, and future-ready. Experience in the airline or retail sector would be a bonus. Personally, you\'re proactive, detail-focused, collaborative, and a clear communicator—able to adapt quickly and stay calm under pressure.

Location & Hours of Works

This full-time role will be based inLuton and will be40hours per week. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office.
