Overview
As a Stores Operative you play a key role in keeping our aircraft flying safely and on time.
You support planned maintenance by ensuring the right materials, tools and components are available when needed, maintain high regulatory and operational standards, and collaborate closely with engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and handle materials, tools and shipments
- Support planned maintenance through accurate pre‑loading of aircraft spares
- Manage stock levels and liaise with suppliers to maintain minimum operating requirements
- Handle unserviceable components including quarantine and timely returns
- Support COAS requirements and tooling loans between bases
- Monitor calibration periods for tools and equipment
- Work in line with health, safety, regulatory and company requirements
Qualifications
- Experience in an engineering stores or tooling environment (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and confidence using IT systems
- Flexible approach to meet operational demands and deadlines
- Current driving licence (essential)
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on delivery and continuous improvement

This full‑time role is based at Luton Airport. Two positions are available, working DDNN 12‑hour or Permanent Night 5‑5‑4 shifts. Please confirm which shift you are applying for.
