The Team
As a pivotal leadership role within the Ground Operations Delivery function, you will report to the Head of Ground Operations Delivery and oversee four key operational service areas: Baggage Services, Accessibility (PRM), Immigration, and Fuel Supply Chain. You will lead the respective managers for each function, ensuring seamless coordination, regulatory compliance, and outstanding service delivery. You will act as a key link between the Ground Ops delivery team, Customer Experience, third‑party providers, and regulatory bodies—driving safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement to make life easier for our customers and our people.

Responsibilities
- Oversee baggage, PRM, immigration, and fuel supply chain operations.
- Monitor SLAs and KPIs and drive service improvements.
- Lead cost control and digitalisation initiatives.
- Manage supplier performance and support contract activities.
- Champion safety, compliance, and a customer‑focused culture.
- Act as escalation point for operational disruptions.
- Provide clear leadership and regular operational updates.
- Lead continuous improvement across the four key domains, embedding AI and emerging technologies while fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, and experimentation.

- 7+ years of senior experience in airport ground operations.
- Strong knowledge of baggage, PRM, fuel, and immigration processes.
- Proven leadership of managers and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with cost control, digitalisation, and supplier management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Calm under pressure, with a passion for operational excellence and customer service.
- Strong commercial awareness and regulatory knowledge (CAA, EASA, DfT, etc.).
