The Team

You’ll join the Network Control team within the wider Integrated Control Centre. The Network Control Support Officer – Crewing provides direct support to the Crewing team, working collaboratively with Operations and Customer Disruption colleagues to manage the airline operation around the clock. The team takes full operational control during periods of disruption, ensuring safe, compliant and well-informed decisions are made when it matters most.

The Role

As a Network Control Support Officer – Crewing, you’ll play a key role in supporting live crewing activity during peak operational periods. Working 12-hour shifts across days and nights, you’ll help ensure flights are resourced correctly, crew rosters remain compliant, and operational queries are handled efficiently and professionally. This is a hands-on operational role, ideal for someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys being part of a team that keeps the operation moving.

What we’re looking for:

  • Calling out crew from standby to cover duties in a timely and effective manner
  • Monitoring crew rosters and identifying potential rule breaches, taking proactive action to resolve issues
  • Ensuring flights are staffed with the correct number and mix of crew in line with safety, compliance and operational requirements
  • Acting as a first point of contact for operational queries, responding clearly and professionally
  • Providing flexible, practical support to the Crewing team during shifts to maintain smooth operations

Essential Key skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in an airline or operational environment, including crew or network control
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • PC literate, with confidence using Outlook, Excel and internet-based systems
  • Flexible approach to working shifts, including days, nights and weekends

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of eRes, AIMS or TOPS
  • Understanding of EASA regulations and easyJet alleviations
  • Working knowledge of the easyJet Operations Manual Part A

Practicalities:

This full-time role is based in Luton. You’ll work an average of fourteen 12-hour shifts per 28 days, covering day shifts (06:30–18:30) and night shifts (18:30–06:30).
