This is an exciting opportunity to join the Operations Finance team as a senior finance leader, reporting into the Senior Finance Manager for Engineering & Maintenance. You'll be the primary finance partner to the Supply Chain and Procurement functions, taking full financial ownership of easyJet's major supply chain transformation initiative. You'll work closely with the Fleet & E&M Finance Team and the wider FP&A team, collaborating across the business to deliver strategic financial leadership.

THE ROLE

As Finance Manager for Engineering & Maintenance Supply Chain, you will lead the financial strategy and oversight of easyJet's Supply Chain programme, ensuring robust financial governance and cost-effective decision-making across all workstreams. You will own the end‑to‑end financial management of major supply chain contracts and sourcing decisions, providing insight into RFP preparation, evaluation, and negotiation. You will serve as the senior finance business partner to Supply Chain and Procurement leadership, offering authoritative financial insight into supplier proposals, cost structures, investment decisions, and operating model choices. You will lead business case development and approval for major sourcing strategies and capital investments, presenting recommendations to senior leadership and ExCo‑level stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Qualified accountant with at least 3 years post‑qualified experience within aviation or an allied industry, specifically partnering engineering or supply chain.
  • Experience leading financial strategy, business partnering, and driving performance in fast‑paced, complex environments.
  • Proven ability to thrive and succeed in large, complex, fast‑moving organisations with multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical skills with an outstanding grasp of variance analysis and key business drivers.
  • Demonstrated experience leading financial modelling for major commercial decisions, including NPV/IRR, scenario analysis, and cost‑benefit frameworks.
  • Experience in supply chain, procurement, or engineering finance is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate and challenge effectively with senior stakeholders up to ExCo level.
  • Proven track record of translating complex financial analysis into clear, actionable insight for non‑financial audiences.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior finance professionals.
  • Self‑starter with high levels of motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent Excel skills (including financial modelling); experience with SQL, Python, or TM1 advantageous.

PRATICALITIES

This full‑time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
