The Team

The Security Team is a multi‑disciplinary group of professionals responsible for ensuring our security operation procedures reduce the opportunity for unlawful interference to our aircraft and harm to our staff and passengers across the entire easyJet entity, including Group Operation Services (GOS) and easyJet Certificated Organisations in the UK, EU and Switzerland. Formed of both Corporate and Aviation Security elements, we work closely to reduce vulnerability from security‑related risks by implementing measures to protect the company and ensuring an effective and efficient support service to our people.

The Role

As an Aviation Security Specialist, you will directly support the Aviation Security Manager – Regulations & Compliance, and the Head of Aviation Security in the delivery of aviation security compliance and support activities for the easyJet group. You will conduct compliance inspections, testing and surveys, support covert test regimes, analyse compliance data, and contribute to security‑related projects. You’ll also liaise with national and international authorities, airports, and government agencies, ensuring easyJet’s security standards are upheld across our network.

What we’re Looking For

  • At least two years’ experience in an airline, airport, ground handling or in‑flight supplier environment
  • Good knowledge of aviation security legislation and regulations (UK, EU, ICAO desirable) and confidence in delivering timely AVSEC inspection reports for management review
  • Experience implementing security requirements in a safety‑critical operational environment
  • Ability to complete compliance activities in diverse cultural environments
  • Discretion and ability to manage sensitive or classified security information
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, nights, or weekends, when required to support operational inspections or unannounced testing
  • Unrestricted ability to travel across the UK, EU, and associated easyJet operational areas, including last‑minute travel
  • Ability to meet UK vetting requirements. Enhanced background check and National Security Vetting (CTC) must have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years
  • Good Microsoft Office skills and report writing ability
  • Proven ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Experience of auditing and compliance is desirable

This full‑time role will be based in Luton, and will be 40 hours per week, with an expected monthly travel of up to 40%.
