The Team

You’ll join our Technical Event Reduction and Reliability team – the group responsible for monitoring the health of our fleet, improving technical reliability, and ensuring we keep aircraft where they belong: in the sky serving our customers. The team works cross-functionally across Engineering & Maintenance and with key partners such as Airbus to drive down technical events and elevate the performance of easyJet’s operation.

The Role

As a Reliability Digital Development Engineer, you will use analytical, statistical and technical problem-solving skills to reduce technical events, improve fleet reliability and optimise processes across Engineering & Maintenance. You will be the administrator and governance lead for the Airbus Skywise Core platform, exploring new features, developing automated reporting, and supporting teams across the business in using data effectively.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyse historical technical events to identify root causes and recommend improvement actions
  • Support the planning and delivery of reliability improvement initiatives and continuous improvement projects
  • Provide mandatory reliability data to ensure Part M / CAMO regulatory compliance
  • Develop and automate reporting, dashboards, alerts and coding logic to support technical performance monitoring
  • Lead the administration of Skywise within the reliability team, including user training and evaluation of new tools
  • Partner with maintenance planning and programme teams to target heavy maintenance reliability improvements
  • Work closely with predictive maintenance specialists to drive fleet performance enhancements
  • Support with contract and budget management related to Airbus data services including Skywise Core, Health Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance
  • Liaise with Airbus to ensure easyJet data is used effectively and contractually supported
  • Provide operational and engineering performance data to internal stakeholders in clear, accessible formats
  • Contribute to improving TDR and aircraft availability across the operation

What we’re looking for:

  • A self-motivated problem solver who works well with others and takes responsibility for outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to get to the root of technical issues
  • Experience in aircraft systems, airline engineering or reliability (desirable)
  • Understanding of aircraft maintenance and operational data
  • Knowledge of EASA, FOCA and CAA regulations (advantageous)
  • Comfortable working with large data systems; any experience in AMOS, Skywise or data programming is beneficial
  • Able to manage high workloads while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail and a focus on KPIs
  • A creative thinker with a continuous-improvement mindset who enjoys challenging conventional ways of working
  • Confident communicating with suppliers, stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
  • A collaborative team player with adaptability, resilience and strong communication skills
