The Team
You will join the Ancillary, Customer & Marketing Finance team - a central partner to Proposition, Ancillary Trading, Customer and Marketing. The team plays a key role in shaping revenue growth, evaluating new initiatives, supporting digital and customer improvements, and advising on marketing and commercial investments. You will be part of a collaborative and energetic six person team reporting to the Senior Finance Manager for Ancillary Revenue, Customer & Marketing, with direct line management of one Finance Analyst.
The Role
As Finance Manager - Ancillary and Commercial Proposition, you will provide financial leadership, insight and challenge across a broad commercial portfolio. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders to support trading performance, evaluate new propositions and drive revenue and margin improvements.
You will:
- Deliver high quality regular reporting, financial plans, forecasts and insight
- Build business cases for new revenue initiatives and assess risk, opportunity and commercial impact
- Work with Commercial teams to shape strategies that drive revenue, margin and customer value
- Manage the financial processes for Ancillary and Partner revenue, including monthly reporting and outlook updates
- Provide weekly P&L re forecasting and support consolidated PBT and cashflow models
- Produce variance analysis, strategy packs and clear senior ready commentary
- Partner with Digital, Distribution and Project teams to understand revenue impacts of new developments
- Lead on financial controls, accounting accuracy and a robust month end process
- Mentor and develop your Finance Analyst while contributing to wider team development
- Build strong cross functional relationships and act as an accessible, influential subject matter expert
This role is hands on and varied, giving you ownership across budgeting, forecasting, commercial decision support, benefits tracking and performance insight.
Requirements of the Role
What we are looking for:
- A qualified accountant with at least 3 years' post qualification experience
- Proven business partnering experience in a fast paced, complex environment
- Excellent analytical skills and strong understanding of key revenue drivers
- Confidence in summarising insights from high volume data with accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, able to influence finance and non finance stakeholders
- A proactive team player who takes initiative and enjoys solving problems
- Strong Excel skills and ideally Planning Analytics experience
- Experience in large, multi unit organisations; commercial or revenue focused sectors advantageous

Practicalities
This full time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
