In this role you will steer the data agenda for the Operations domain, partnering with senior leaders to translate priorities into measurable data products and analytics initiatives. You will shape the roadmap across analytics, engineering, data science, architecture and governance, delivering through influence and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll operate in a data-rich, fast-paced environment, driving value from data investments and supporting an enterprise-wide data transformation. Responsibilities

  • Define and own the data strategy and roadmap for the Operations domain, aligned to business goals and enterprise data transformation
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into data products and analytics use cases, prioritised by value
  • Coordinate delivery across multi-disciplinary teams, manage resources and dependencies, and drive adoption of data products
  • Champion data governance, quality and standards, clarifying ownership and improving data maturity within Operations

Key requirements

  • Proven ability to deliver measurable business outcomes through data-led initiatives
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments
  • Experience coordinating data delivery in a business-facing setting
  • Strong commercial awareness and focus on business value
  • Experience in time-sensitive domains such as operations, logistics or aviation
  • Expertise in defining operational KPIs, reporting frameworks and trusted metrics
  • Experience coordinating analytics, engineering and data science capabilities
  • Knowledge of modern data platforms (Databricks, Azure, AWS or GCP)
  • Understanding of data products, domain operating models and data governance
  • Strong communication skills bridging technical and business audiences
  • Comfort with ambiguity and balancing competing priorities
