THE TEAM
The Compliance Monitoring Function is a multi-disciplinary team of professionals responsible for developing and implementing the Compliance Monitoring strategy to achieve an integrated approach to compliance monitoring across the entire easyJet entity.
THE ROLE
As a Compliance Monitoring Surveyor, you will report to the Compliance Performance Lead and play a key role in delivering audits, inspections and assessments within our Compliance Monitoring programme. Your work will ensure we meet all applicable regulatory and business requirements.
You Will
- Perform assigned Compliance Monitoring activities in support of our risk-based Integrated Compliance Monitoring Programme
- Plan, conduct and complete audits, inspections and assessments within agreed timescales
- Accurately document and record all Compliance Monitoring activities in line with procedures and regulatory requirements
- Support and educate stakeholders in responding to compliance findings, including root cause analysis
- Proactively research and collect intelligence to enhance the Compliance Monitoring Programme
- Contribute to the development of Safety, Security and Compliance strategic objectives and the Integrated Management System
- Maintain your competency by updating your regulatory knowledge and pursuing continuous self-development
- Perform administrative tasks related to Compliance Monitoring activities
- Remain independent in all circumstances
What We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of EASA and/or CAA UK regulations
- Experience in Flight Operations, Ground Operations or Crew Training
- Background in Compliance Monitoring, Quality Control or Assurance
- Internal or Lead Auditor qualification ISO 9001 or equivalent
- Understanding of Compliance Monitoring, Safety Management Systems and Integrated Management Systems
- Desirable knowledge in Risk and Safety Management, Environment and Health & Safety in aviation
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with people from diverse cultures and all organisational levels
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to interpret complex regulatory information
- Ability to travel regularly across the easyJet network

PRACTICALITIES
This full-time role can be based at one of our London-area bases, with hybrid working supported. The role involves regular travel across the easyJet network and is 40 hours per week.
