Customer Claims Executives at easyJet holidays are responsible for supporting the management, coordination, and processing of legal challenges, reviewing processes to direct claims efficiently to the appropriate business area, ensuring that easyJet holidays’ interests are represented through the litigation process, including any final court hearing, and providing advice and support on consumer, Package Travel and general litigation matters to pre-action colleagues as well as the wider business.
As a Customer Claims Executive, you’ll work with the easyJet holidays’ customer and insurance teams to implement processes and procedures to identify and route claims correctly, acting as subject matter expert on all aspects of litigation exposure and providing sound commercial solutions.
You’ll support the end-to-end ownership of litigated claims presented against easyJet Holidays, outside the scope of insurance coverage, including those brought under the Package Travel Regulations, and provide advice to the customer team on escalated referrals where litigation is threatened.
In collaboration with the insurance team, you’ll provide advice, instructions, and strategy on insured matters to our external claims handlers, and you’ll report on reserves, liability, volume, and trends to the easyJet holidays legal directorate.
What you’ll bring to the team:
You must be a strong relationship builder with the ability to influence, negotiate, and efficiently deal with large volumes of work, and you’ll be comfortable working with data and Microsoft Office.
Ideally you will be a confident litigator with a comprehensive background in volume litigation environments, a solicitor or CILEX qualified in England and Wales, or an experienced paralegal with demonstrable expertise in civil litigation and Package Tour Regulation claims. We’d love you to already have knowledge of the English and Welsh Civil Procedure Rules, their interrelationship, and how to use these to gain a tactical advantage, and experience of insured matters, including personal injury, in a tour operator legal environment will be a distinct advantage.
What’s in it for you:
In addition to your competitive base salary, we offer an all-inclusive benefits package which includes our company-wide bonus scheme and a 5% pension contribution. We offer a variety of share options and life assurance, and we have an impressive range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to your needs.
You’ll have access to heavily discounted flights for yourself and your loved ones, as well as free easyJet Plus membership, annual holiday vouchers, and a generous annual leave entitlement.
At easyJet holidays, we create unforgettable experiences for our customers, and we strive to do the same for our people. As such, we’re committed to supporting our team with development opportunities and a welcoming atmosphere.
The role is full-time and based at our easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport. We operate a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office.
