Vetting & ID Coordinator – Fixed Term Contract

The Vetting and ID Team manages the issues of ID for all M&A, cabin crew, pilots, and contractors needing access to easyJet properties. Their responsibilities include ensuring proper vetting and ID for new hires, current employees, and internal transfers, maintaining a verified five-year background check to enable staff to perform their roles with the necessary easyJet and airport airside ID. This team plays a critical role in controlling access to easyJet\’s buildings and safeguarding against insider threats.
What you\’ll be doing
In this role, reporting to the Vetting and ID Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that all new hires, employee renewals, and internal transfers are thoroughly and accurately screened in line with easyJet, Airport Authority, and Department for Transport requirements. You\’ll provide excellent customer service, acting as the main point of contact for candidates, employees, referees, and authorities during the vetting process. Key duties include managing ID vetting, ensuring compliance with policies, gathering and verifying information, processing Airside passes, and maintaining high service standards through quality control. Also, you\’ll support process improvements, track progress, and handle documentation and ID verification tasks.
What you\’ll bring to the team
This role requires excellent customer service skills, resilience under pressure, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. A methodical, detail-oriented approach is essential, along with strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines. Experience handling sensitive personal data and a high level of IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel, are also desirable. Additionally, a comprehensive understanding of UK and EU Airside Pass regulations and Aviation Security rules, with an emphasis on mitigating ‘Insider Threats’ throughout the pass issuance process, would be highly regarded.
