The Team: You’ll be part of easyJet’s Engineering and Maintenance function, a team recognised across the industry for innovation, reliability and operational excellence. Working closely with colleagues across engineering, logistics and maintenance you’ll help deliver industry‑leading technical dispatch reliability and keep our fleet flying safely and efficiently.
The Role: As Stores and Tooling Manager you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our operation runs safely, smoothly and compliantly. You’ll lead the day‑to‑day stores and tooling operation making sure materials, components and tooling are available, controlled and managed to the highest standards. Safety is our top priority and you’ll be accountable for meeting all regulatory and company requirements while driving a best‑in‑class operation. You’ll also be a key people leader developing capability, engagement and performance across the team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Owning the stores and tooling operation ensuring full compliance with regulatory and company standards
- Leading and developing the team with a strong focus on performance, capability and engagement
- Managing tooling control including calibration, tracking, repairs and lifecycle management
- Overseeing commercial stock holdings, inventory control and cycle counting
- Ensuring the operation is appropriately resourced including workforce planning and leave management
- Driving continuous improvement, identifying efficiencies and introducing smarter ways of working
- Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation and internal procedures
- Working closely with engineering and maintenance leadership to support operational priorities
What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for a confident people leader with strong operational experience and a proactive mindset. You’ll bring a balance of regulatory knowledge, commercial awareness and the ability to inspire teams in a dynamic environment.
- Experience within aviation logistics, stores or supply chain operations
- Proven experience leading and motivating teams in a regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of CAA and EASA Part 145 regulations
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
- High levels of personal discipline with the ability to meet operational deadlines
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office with AMOS knowledge desirable
- A continuous improvement mindset and a collaborative team‑first approach
