  • Provide legal advice on a wide range of employment and labour law issues across multiple EU jurisdictions and identifying any training needs for the business.
  • Manage industrial relations matters, including collective grievances, disputes process with our employee representative bodies and support with negotiation strategies.
  • Oversee employment litigation and advise on litigation strategies.
  • Support business projects such as new base openings, acquisitions, and TUPE transfers.
  • Keep the business updated on legislative changes and ensure compliance across the different countries.
  • Manage external counsel and work towards reducing external legal costs.

    A qualified employment lawyer with knowledge of employment law in at least one of easyJet\’s key base locations (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland). Experience across a number of these jurisdictions is preferred but not essential.

  • 4-7 years of post-qualification experience in employment law, with a preference for candidates who have both law firm and in-house experience.
  • Individuals who are proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships and influence at a senior level.
  • A team player with a strong sense of ownership and delivery.
