b Overview /b p As Duty Engineer, you lead the Line Maintenance production team to deliver safe, efficient, and timely maintenance for scheduled and unscheduled work. You act as an operational leader, supporting colleagues, collaborating with stakeholders and suppliers, and ensuring a resilient maintenance operation that underpins the flying programme. You balance safety with performance while driving engagement and continuous improvement. This role sits at the heart of easyJet’s mission to keep fleets operating safely and reliably. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Competitive base salary /li li Industry leading shift allowance /li li Up to 15% annual bonus /li li 32 days holiday /li li Pension match 7% /li li Excellent staff travel benefits /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Deputise for the management team when required /li li Lead, motivate and manage performance of team members to drive engagement and development /li li Allocate resources to ensure defects are rectified promptly and aircraft departures stay on schedule /li li Build relationships with operational stakeholders and third-party suppliers to support a One Team approach /li li Communicate operational risks, disruptions and potential impacts to the flying programme /li li Ensure maintenance documentation and certification are completed accurately in line with procedures and regulatory requirements /li li Monitor technical delays, out of service reports and the reporting of significant defects, incidents and events /li li Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance across facilities, equipment and vehicles /li li Deliver effective shift handovers and manage deferred defects /li li Exercise licence and approval privileges to certify maintenance activities as required /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Strong leadership skills to inspire and support diverse teams /li li UK Part 66 B1 and/or B2 Licence and authorisation, or equivalent on company aircraft /li li Up-to-date knowledge of airworthiness legislation /li li Typically five years’ operational experience in a line maintenance environment /li li Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders across a complex operation /li li Strong customer focus balancing operational priorities /li li Experience driving change and continuous improvement /li li Good working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation /li li Strong IT skills and confidence with operational systems /li /ul ul li leadership and team motivation /li li stakeholder communication /li li customer focus /li li Part 66 B1/B2 licence and authorisation /li li airworthiness knowledge /li li operational systems proficiency /li /ul
