We have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Product Owner to join our Digital Experience Team and be the key link between the commercial & operational functions with the IT delivery teams, who always puts the customer at the heart of everything they do. You will own & deliver areas of easyJet’s web products and experiences for our customers, driving commercial return and increased customer engagement & satisfaction. You’ll champion best practice and the role our digital channels can play in our commercial, customer & operations programmes while driving the implementation of feature developments through collaborative working with internal and external partners, putting customer insight/analytics at the heart of our thinking. This is a permanent role, based in Luton. (Hybrid Working)

Key Accountabilities

  • A hands-on, creative person with previous experience in delivering digital products and experiences in an agile environment.
  • A user-focused individual who keeps the customer at the heart of everything you do, while demonstrating strong commercial and operational awareness.
  • Data-driven in your approach, basing decisions on facts rather than opinions.
  • Strong background in both quantitative and qualitative user research and testing.
  • Experience in ecommerce journeys, with understanding of trading pressures, customer and operational impacts.
  • Brings solid product experience, with a deep understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle from discovery through to delivery and iteration.
  • A people person who actively seeks out and collaborates with a range of stakeholders across the business.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a “take charge” attitude to manage the full development cycle of a product.
  • Agile and innovative, with the tenacity to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
  • Able to balance marketing, technology, analytics and experimentation at all times.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills.
  • Outstanding networking skills to work across teams and departments.

What will be required from you?

  • A passion for digital technology and its application in business.
  • 2+ years of Product management experience.
  • 3-5+ years’ experience & understanding of IT development processes.
  • A broad understanding of the role product plays in an organisation.
  • A true “customer first” thinker – naturally representing the customer throughout the idea generation and development process.
  • An understanding & experience of user experience and design processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ambitious team under pressure.
