About the Role
As a Stores Operative you will play a key role in keeping our aircraft flying safely and on time. You will support planned maintenance activity by ensuring the right materials, tools and components are available when needed, and will help maintain our high regulatory and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, inspecting and handling materials, tooling and shipments
- Supporting planned maintenance through accurate pre‑loading of aircraft spares
- Managing stock levels and liaising with suppliers to maintain minimum operating requirements
- Handling unserviceable components including quarantine and timely returns
- Supporting COAS requirements and tooling loans between bases
- Monitoring calibration periods for tools and equipment
- Working in line with health, safety, regulatory and company requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in an engineering stores or tooling environment is essential
- Strong attention to detail and confidence using IT systems
- A flexible approach to meet operational demands and deadlines
- A current driving licence (essential)
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on delivery and continuous improvement

Practicalities
This full-time role will be based in London Gatwick and will follow a DDNN 12‑hour, 4x4 shift pattern. It is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract.
