JOB PURPOSE
The Data Analytics Centre of Enablement (CoE) is seeking a BI Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in data analytics. Key responsibilities include developing and updating data analytics training materials, establishing best practices and standards, supporting business functions with solution development and onboarding to our tools and platforms, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive innovation in data analytics across the organisation.
The Data Analytics CoE team is an integral part of the wider Data Analytics & Integration team, which also includes Data Science, Data Engineering and Data Management teams. The team works closely with a growing number of internal stakeholders across easyJet on multiple transformation projects.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop reports, visualisations, and presentations to communicate strategic findings and present insights as actionable recommendations to key stakeholders, enabling the organisation to improve its business processes and make informed decisions.
- Support the BI Analyst community as a growing and thriving community of practice.
- Analyse complex data and perform ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions and seek data-based insights for business operations improvement.
- Support with design and delivery of technical training for analytical tools and their associated ways of working.
- Be an advocate for the data analytics operating model, encouraging adoption of best practices within the BI Analyst community.
- Have effective communication & storytelling skills to communicate important findings and provide recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable way.
- Champion data fluency and self-serve analytics, engaging with stakeholders to show why data is important and how to create, interpret and communicate insights effectively.
- Ensure that data tools and reports are well-explained and documented, as well as educating colleagues about such best practices; providing an understanding of how to use the information effectively to achieve desired outcomes.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
- Experience of working in a numerical, analytical, and problem-solving role in a product or service-related industry.
- Experience with or commitment to learn one or more coding language (e.g. SQL, Python) to extract, manipulate and summarise data from large databases.
- Experience with business intelligence/data visualisation tools (such as Tableau, Thoughtspot, PowerBI)
- Practical database skills with focus on data extraction and transformation into actionable insights.
- A logical thinker with a good analytical background.
- Motivated, results-focussed self-starter, comfortable in a fast paced and challenging environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
