B2 Licensed Engineer – NCL
Join easyJet’s renowned Engineering and Maintenance team and be part of delivering Europe’s highest technical dispatch reliability, recognised by Airbus. As a Licensed Engineer, you’ll work on cutting‑edge NEO aircraft, including the A321, ensuring top aircraft performance through scheduled maintenance and task supervision. You\’ll bring strong technical knowledge, hands‑on skills, and experience with maintenance documentation and digital reporting systems. What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you will exercise your license/approval to accomplish scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring all tasks meet required standards and support safe, efficient operations. You will record and issue certificates of release to service, review allocated resources, and advise the Duty Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor of any potential service disruptions. You will set task priorities to ensure safe, timely flight departures, complete and certify documentation, inspect parts, and supervise others to maintain high standards of quality. Additional duties include compiling delay reports, maintaining equipment and facilities, assisting with departures, taking handovers if required, and ensuring smooth shift transitions by recording deferred defects and ordering spares as needed.
What you’ll need to do the role:
The ideal candidate will hold a UK Part 66 B1 license (or equivalent) with authorisation on company aircraft, demonstrating up‑to‑date knowledge of airworthiness legislation and at least 3 years of experience in a line maintenance environment. Strong communication skills, a customer‑focused approach, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team at all levels are essential. Flexibility to meet deadlines, adaptability to overcome operational challenges, and a commitment to continuous improvement are highly valued. Candidates should also have a solid understanding of Health and Safety legislation and be proficient in IT.
