Overview
The Senior Analytics Engineer is part of the Technology team at easyJet holidays, reporting to the Senior Data Analytics Manager. The role focuses on extending the ThoughtSpot platform and building analytical pipelines that drive commercial decisions across the business.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Liveboards and AI Agents using ThoughtSpot and Redshift, translating stakeholder requirements into data products.
- Design, build and refine Python and SQL‑based data pipelines within Dagster and AWS, documenting and testing models through dbt.
- Lead the development of our DataOps framework, enhancing patterns and tooling to make the platform robust and scalable.
- Own relationships with key business areas, identifying opportunities to turn data into commercial value.
- Mentor and coach Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers and Data Scientists to raise capability across the data community.
- Ensure governance and compliance across the data estate meets all regulatory requirements.
- Provide ad‑hoc analysis and model development as required.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in data analysis and data engineering, with strong command of SQL and Python, including Git‑based workflows.
- Proven track record with ETL/ELT tooling such as Dagster, dbt, AWS Glue, Airflow or equivalents.
- Experience working within AWS‑based data environments; GCP experience is a bonus.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, translating business goals into data products.
- Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences.
- High attention to detail and ability to deliver under pressure.

Location & Working Model
Full‑time, based at easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport, operating a hybrid model of three days per week in the office.
