Reporting Manager – Fixed Term Contract. The Reporting Manager sits at the heart of the easyJet holidays Finance team and reports into the Senior Finance Manager – Reporting and Controls. It’s a hands-on management role, with responsibility for the day to day running of the Reporting & Controls team and close working relationships across the business.
As our Reporting Manager, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of financial reporting and controls for easyJet holidays, which includes everything from statutory accounts and ATOL reporting through to management reporting and the processes that sit behind them. The scope is broad, and the work is varied, but the focus is always the same: accurate reporting, strong controls and clear ownership.
You’ll own the month-end process, set the timetable, track actions and make sure deadlines are met without unnecessary friction. You’ll maintain a strong control environment and own the risk and control matrix on behalf of holidays finance. There’s a forward-looking element to the role, shaping a roadmap for the Reporting & Controls area, balancing incremental improvements with strategic change, and looking for practical ways to improve efficiency, automation and clarity over time.
The role works closely with Group Finance and with teams across the holidays business, including Commercial, Operations, and easyJet Airline. Intercompany accounting is part of the picture, particularly around flight data and reconciliations, so an ability to work confidently across organisational boundaries is important. This is a role for someone who enjoys accountability, values good financial discipline, and likes building strong, trusted relationships while keeping a clear grip on the detail.
What You’ll Bring To The Team
- A qualified accountant with good post-qualified experience and a solid grounding in financial reporting and controls.
- Comfortable navigating accounting complexity across the balance sheet, cash flow and P&L, and pride in getting things right.
- Experience of improving processes, whether through automation, simplification or better ways of working, and motivation to make reporting clearer and more efficient rather than just maintaining the status quo.
- Confidence explaining finance to non-financial colleagues, and the ability to challenge when needed while maintaining strong working relationships.
- Strong time management across competing priorities and deadlines, with experience in both routine reporting and ad-hoc requests.
- Proactive, able to work on own initiative and offer solutions.
- Experience in leading and developing others, with a thoughtful approach to building capability, retention and succession.
- Strong Excel skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.
What’s In It For You
In addition to a competitive base salary, an all-inclusive benefits package includes our company-wide bonus scheme, 7% pension contribution, private medical insurance, share options, life assurance, and a range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to your needs. You’ll have access to heavily discounted flights for you and your loved ones, free easyJet Plus membership, annual holiday vouchers, and a generous annual leave entitlement. We are committed to development opportunities and a welcoming atmosphere.
The role is full-time and based at our easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport. We operate a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office.
