The easyJet holidays Finance team works closely with the business, providing financial management and insight across all areas of the operation. The Finance Manager - Projects sits within the Finance Projects team and reports into the Finance Projects Lead, working across finance and the wider business to support the delivery of strategic change.
As Finance Manager – Projects, you’ll be involved in a range of business-led and finance-led initiatives, supporting the delivery of the finance elements from end to end. You will take time to understand how our finance systems and processes work today, where they create friction, and how they need to change to support future growth. A core part of the role is working with stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Data, Commercial and Operations to translate ideas and requirements into defined, workable solutions. You’ll document requirements, map processes and help teams understand the impact of change on finance systems, controls and reporting. There’s also a strong delivery focus. You’ll support system implementation and testing, making sure finance requirements are properly built into test plans and that changes work end to end before they go live. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to portfolio planning and governance by providing clear updates on progress, risks and dependencies, and helping ensure finance activity stays aligned to wider business priorities. This role suits someone who enjoys working across teams, is comfortable sitting between finance and technology, and likes bringing structure and clarity to complex change.
What You’ll Bring To The Team
- You’ll be a qualified finance professional (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with experience in a finance business partnering environment.
- You’ll also have strong project and change experience, ideally from a business analysis or systems focused role.
- You’re confident gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders, documenting processes and explaining the impact of change in a clear and practical way.
- You understand finance systems and have strong Excel skills and an interest in automation, AI tools and data-led system design.
- You’re able to work with technical teams, delivery partners and vendors, and you’re familiar with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio and O365, as well as Agile ways of working.
Above all, you care about doing finance change well. You take a thoughtful approach, ask the right questions, and focus on improvements that genuinely make a difference to how the business operates.
