As a Crew Training Technician, you’ll provide the hands-on technical support that keeps our training facilities, devices and equipment operational. Based at our Crew Training Centre at London Gatwick, you’ll carry out readiness checks, planned maintenance, inspections, fault-finding and repairs across a wide range of specialist training equipment. This is a practical role for someone who enjoys understanding how things work, finding the cause of problems and getting equipment back into service quickly and safely.

You’ll join the Facilities, Devices and Equipment Team, working closely with instructors, subject matter experts, operational stakeholders, suppliers and training locations across the easyJet network. It’s a hands-on environment where priorities can change quickly. Clear communication, good judgement and a practical approach are essential to keeping training safe, effective and on schedule.

You’ll coordinate and carry out planned maintenance, inspections, testing and fault-finding across Door Trainers, Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainers, Customer Service Trainers, Over Wing Exit Trainers, evacuation slides and other specialist equipment. You’ll keep devices operationally ready, respond quickly to technical issues and manage repairs, refurbishment, component replacement and upgrades to improve reliability and extend asset life. You’ll maintain accurate technical, safety and compliance records, support audits and regulatory reviews, and track corrective actions through to completion. You’ll also manage spare parts, supplier activity and maintenance spend, while providing day-to-day direction and sharing knowledge across the team.

You’ll bring strong technical aptitude and experience troubleshooting, maintaining or overseeing mechanical and technical equipment. You can read and follow technical manuals and mechanical diagrams. You’re organised, comfortable balancing several priorities in a fast-paced operational setting and able to work independently while coordinating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. You communicate clearly, work well as part of a team and look for practical ways to improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency and the training experience.

Diversity isn't a checkbox — it's how we fly. The strongest technical teams bring together different experiences, perspectives and ways of solving problems. Whatever your background, if you care about safe, reliable training and enjoy making things work better, we want to hear from you.
