Technical Architect ( 16002 )
The In-flight Retail Technology team is responsible for the applications and third-party relationships that support easyJets In-flight retail business. You will be the actively involved in small to complex changes covering the flow of flight, scheduling data from easyJet to the retail logistics partner, on-board epos, closed-loop Wi-Fi, and pre-order capability for easyJet customers. The team manage the overall scope of easyJets IT delivery for In-flight retail, including technology and lifecycle management, service & change management, and support.
Working in a dynamic environment the Technical Architect is responsible for the technical design of applications and platforms within the IT estate, adhering to enterprise standards and best practice. The role works closely with enterprise architects, solution architects, business analysts, developers, and delivery managers to deliver IT Change that meets the needs of projects and programmes within easyJets enterprise portfolio. Supporting solution architects in the creation of end-to-end architecture. Work with onshore and nearshore development teams as required, including occasional travel

Building relationships. Have good working relationships with development team, Enterprise architects, business stakeholders and wider IT function.
Methodical, logical, and flexible in approach, you will have gained significant experience as a Technical Architect
Good understanding of design best practices, including design principles & patterns, security and performance.
Experience of operating in a distributed agile model and in supporting onshore and offshore delivery teams
Practical experience of analysis and development techniques e.g., SCRUM, Agile & Waterfall
Prior experience with retail technology as a technical architect
Background architecture design, with an appreciation for security risk assessment and threat management.
Experience with technical architectural development, policy, asset management and modelling.
