The Team

You’ll be part of easyJet’s Engineering and Maintenance function – a team recognised across the industry for innovation and operational excellence. Working closely with engineers, planners and suppliers you’ll help deliver industry‑leading aircraft performance and one of the highest technical dispatch reliability records in Europe.

The Role

As a Stores Operative you’ll play a key role in keeping our aircraft flying safely and on time. You’ll support planned maintenance activity by ensuring the right materials, tooling and components are available when they’re needed. With a strong eye for detail and a safety‑first mindset you’ll help maintain our high regulatory and operational standards every single day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving, inspecting and handling materials, tooling and shipments
  • Supporting planned maintenance through accurate pre‑loading of aircraft spares
  • Managing stock levels and liaising with suppliers to maintain minimum operating requirements
  • Handling unserviceable components including quarantine and timely returns
  • Supporting COAS requirements and tooling loans between bases
  • Monitoring calibration periods for tools and equipment
  • Working in line with health, safety, regulatory and company requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in an engineering stores or tooling environment (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence using IT systems
  • A flexible approach to meet operational demands and deadlines
  • A current driving licence (essential)
  • A collaborative mindset with a focus on delivery and continuous improvement

Practicalities

This full‑time role is based in London Gatwick, working a DDNN 12‑hour, 4x4 shift pattern. The contract is 6‑month fixed term.
