We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and strategic Experimentation Lead to develop and lead a multidisciplinary experimentation function, including dedicated development, design and analytics leads, building scalable capability that drives sustainable growth rather than isolated test outcomes. The role will also contribute to defining the easyJet experimentation strategy, leverage new technologies, AI and automation to ensure we can scale our experimentation execution efficiently and continuously deliver incremental value.

The Digital Product Team sits in the Digital function within the Customer & Marketing Team. We own a critical part of the easyJet customer journey as we look after the primary digital customer touchpoints. We maintain and innovate our website and our award-winning mobile app to deliver best in class customer experience, all while delivering and exceeding on business objectives.

This critical role is responsible for building and scaling a product-led, data-driven experimentation capability across easyJet’s digital ecosystem, including easyjet.com, native mobile apps and easyJet Holidays. As we evolve our platforms, this role will ensure experimentation is embedded within the product development lifecycle and engineering architecture, enabling teams to deliver measurable customer and commercial value through structured test-and-learn practices.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define and lead a product-led experimentation strategy aligned to digital growth, customer value and commercial objectives.
  • Embed experimentation within the product lifecycle, ensuring hypotheses are driven by clear customer problems and business opportunities.
  • Partner with the digital merchandising teams across flights and holidays to both execute high value trading focussed experiments and enable increased experimentation self-service and automation.
  • Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary experimentation team including Experimentation Developers, Designers and Data Analysts.
  • Ensure experimentation efforts are prioritised based on expected value, impact and strategic alignment.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to embed experimentation within the evolving React and native app architecture to enable scalable and efficient testing.
  • Establish scalable, in-code and server-side experimentation approaches to increase capability and reduce reliance on front-end tools.
  • Ensure learnings are synthesised into actionable product improvements and platform capability enhancements.
  • Build reporting frameworks that focus on value delivered, anchored around KPIs including conversion, ancillary attachment, revenue, margin impact, and more.
  • Create durable feedback loops to validate sustained performance uplift and long-term impact.
  • Design and implement a scalable operating model that enables product squads to independently run high-quality experiments.
  • Define the future organisation design and capability roadmap for experimentation as the function scales.
  • Create succession and capability development plans across technical and analytical disciplines.
  • Manage dedicated partner resources to augment in-house team capacity, ensuring quality consistency and flexibility is maintained.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Significant experience leading experimentation or CRO functions within complex, high-traffic digital eCommerce environments.
  • Proven track record of scaling experimentation beyond tactical A/B testing into embedded product capability.
  • Experience working within modern front-end frameworks such as React or similar SPA architectures.
  • Strong understanding of server-side experimentation, feature flags and experimentation platform design.
  • Experience implementing experimentation across native mobile apps.
  • Strong statistical knowledge and experience designing and analysing robust experiments.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen with experience delivering measurable revenue impact.
  • Experience designing scalable experimentation operating models across multiple squads.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across Product, Engineering, Commercial and Marketing.
  • Extensive experience leading experimentation teams and processes.
  • Flexibility to work in a cross-functional, matrixed environment where multiple priorities need to be managed.
