  • Owning relationships with key areas of the business, identifying new opportunities to turn data into commercial value.
  • Mentoring and coaching Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers and Data Scientists, including supplier-based resources, to raise capability across the wider data community.
  • Ensuring governance and compliance across the data estate meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting adhoc analysis and model development as needed.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Extensive experience across data analysis and data engineering, with a strong command of SQL and Python including Git-based workflows.
  • Extensive experience with visualisation and analytics tools (ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Power BI or similar).
  • A proven track record with ETL/ELT tooling such as Dagster, dbt, AWS Glue, Airflow or equivalents.
  • Experience working within AWS-based data environments (GCP experience is a bonus).
  • The ability to take complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, translating business goals into data products.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to deliver under pressure.
