Team Working within our Delivery and Change team, you will be part of the Customer, Commercial, Group Markets & Holidays Portfolio team, which is a key driver of our cross‑organisational delivery plans.
Job Purpose: The Agile Project Manager role at easyJet plays a crucial part in managing projects that span both the Business & Technology organisations. As easyJet continues to grow and evolve the Agile ways of working across our delivery, this is an exciting opportunity to bring strong Agile experience into an organisation on the journey to become Europe’s most loved airline.
Job Accountabilities:
- Value Delivery: Partner with business leads to relentlessly deliver business outcomes and benefits through integrated projects.
- Governance Adherence: Ensure adherence to all project governance requirements, including budget, velocity, key milestones, and team KPIs reporting.
- Versatile Methodologies: Be proficient in working within both Agile and Waterfall environments to adapt project management methodologies as needed.
- Promote Collaboration: Collaborate closely with leads, stakeholders, Product Manager/Owner and delivery team members to foster a culture of collaboration.
- End‑to‑End Delivery: Work closely with technology leads to create and oversee end‑to‑end delivery plans.
- Resource Management: Manage project resource requirements in collaboration with resource owners and third‑party providers, where applicable.
- Risk Management: Effectively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, intervening proactively to maintain project course.
- Event Facilitation: Organise and facilitate project delivery events and decision‑making processes, such as sprint planning, steercos, progress reporting, and retrospectives.
- Problem Solving: Resolve obstacles and facilitate effective decision‑making with impacted stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify learnings and root causes, supporting their application to enhance future initiative deliveries.
Requirements of the Role Key Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated success in leading projects in large‑scale organisations that operate mixed‑model delivery environments (Agile, Waterfall and blended delivery approaches).
- You will be trained in programme and project management techniques/systems across mix‑model delivery techniques (e.g. Agile scrum, MSP, APM, Prince2, Jira, Confluence, Miro).
- Demonstrable experience in Agile Project/Product Management.
- You will have proven the ability to work as one team to support project delivery, leading and motivating project teams of 15+ people (including third‑party suppliers).
- Strong communication, negotiation, relationship building and leadership skills.
- You will need financial understanding and appreciation (budgeting, reporting, interpretation); managing budgets up to £5m.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a curious nature when creating and managing both cost and benefit models.
