The Opportunity

Are you ready to shape the future of aviation technology? As our Product Manager – Airport Management, you will lead the vision, strategy, and global rollout of foundational technology across 150+ airports. In this critical role, you will bridge the gap between enterprise technology and front‑line airport operations. You will manage multiple squads to build scalable, resilient, and highly integrated airport environments—from hangars and crew facilities to operational networks and workspace endpoints.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the global roadmap for airport operational capability in alignment with core business objectives.
  • Own the mission budget to guarantee resource allocation and funding for strategic roadmaps.
  • Balance local airport needs with enterprise scalability, standardisation, and resilience.

Technical & Ecosystem Alignment

  • Drive standardisation across a fragmented landscape of airport tech and supplier ecosystems.
  • Partner with Technical Leads to align product direction with architecture and engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with enterprise teams across Network, Identity, Cybersecurity, and other relevant domains.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

  • Provide direction to Product Owners and nurture a high‑performance culture of ownership.
  • Engage senior leadership with transparent product updates, plans, and performance metrics.
  • Work with Regional Delivery Managers to manage supplier relations and regional execution.

Lifecycle & Delivery Management

  • Act as the voice of the customer, translating operational insights into actionable backlogs.
  • Oversee full product lifecycles from initial ideation and deployment to long‑term retirement.
  • Ensure high operational observability, telemetry, monitoring, and robust system recovery.

Technical Focus Areas

You will champion product evolution across these core foundational domains:

  • Airport Connectivity: Network infrastructure, Operational Base Offices (OBOs), and hangars.
  • Identity & Endpoints: Access management, federation services, and global device management.
  • Workspace Enablement: Operational printing, meeting room tech, and front‑line workspace tools.
  • Data Integration: Airport system integration, data exchange, and operational asset visibility.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Aviation/Airport Tech Experience: Proven experience managing products in distributed airport environments.
  • Scale & Complexity: Track record of managing multi‑squad product areas and enterprise‑level budgets.
  • Supplier Governance: Strong ability to navigate and rationalise third‑party vendor ecosystems.
  • Technical Fluency: Understanding of identity management, networking, endpoint infrastructure, and observability tooling.
  • Strategic Influence: Exceptional stakeholder management skills to unite cross‑functional business and engineering teams.
