About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Workday Delivery Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping and operating the system of delivery across our Workday product suite. Our Workday platform underpins critical employee and business processes across the organisation – including Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence – forming a central part of the operational heartbeat of the business. In this role, you will drive a scalable, efficient, and product-led approach to delivery. You’ll work across HR, Technology, Payroll, Reward, and wider business teams to remove systemic blockers, improve flow, and enable high-performing product teams. This is an exciting opportunity to support our ongoing transformation to a product‑led operating model, while helping to evolve the future of Workday delivery including the integration of AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the Workday delivery model to optimise idea‑to‑value flow
- Enable and coach teams in Agile best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Maintain and drive delivery plans across the Workday product suite
- Introduce and track flow metrics and performance indicators to measure delivery effectiveness
- Identify, manage, and remove systemic impediments and delivery blockers
- Partner closely with the Workday Lead and Technical Architect to shape and future‑prove the roadmap
- Provide clear, timely delivery reporting, status updates, risks, and dependency management
- Build strong relationships with product, solution, and business stakeholders
- Support alignment with organisational delivery standards and governance
- Champion and contribute to the wider Agile transformation journey

- Strong Workday expertise (HCM, integrations; AI agents/Sana knowledge advantageous)
- Proven experience in Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe/LeSS)
- Strong facilitation skills across workshops, ceremonies, and product-level planning
- Experience coaching teams in Agile and product-led ways of working
- Ability to build and maintain delivery roadmaps
- Strong experience in impediment identification and removal
- Expertise in delivery metrics, flow measurement, and reporting
- Experience optimising toolsets such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Lucidchart
