THE TEAM

This is a key senior management role within our Finance team, responsible for a team of two, looking after financial planning and analysis for easyJet’s crew establishment of over 15,000 pilots and cabin crew.

THE ROLE

As Senior Finance Manager – Crew (Establishment), you will lead all financial planning activities for our crew establishment, including the Strategic Plan, annual Budget, and periodic forecasts. You will ensure robust financial insight and alignment with business objectives, forecasting crew establishment related costs, unit costs of production, and key strategic performance indicators such as productivity and operational efficiency. You will act as a trusted finance business partner, working closely with senior stakeholders to support decision-making during a period of significant transformation. You will play a key role in the Crew Planning transformation, supporting the implementation of new technologies and enhanced processes. Your responsibilities will include providing data-driven crew analysis to optimise seasonal scheduling, partnering with all OS&P areas to deliver value-creating initiatives, and developing high-quality financial reporting and performance dashboards. You will lead and influence change in a strategically important area of the airline, providing financial challenge, insight, and commercial support to drive performance improvements.

Requirements of the Role

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 10 years post-qualification experience
  • Proven experience in managing and developing talent and driving high performance
  • Excellent project management skills and strong leadership and communication ability
  • Demonstrated track record of business partnering in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Experience operating at senior manager level and supporting Directors
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships across the business
  • Strong decision-making skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Self-starter with high levels of motivation and enthusiasm
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

PRACTICALITIES

This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
