Role Overview
Are you ready to keep a major airline moving? As an Operational Support Analyst, you will ensure the stability, usability, and day-to-day performance of frontline airport operational technology and mobile services across our entire airport network. Working in a supplier-led ecosystem, you will collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Specialists, and Ground Operations teams to ensure frontline systems remain safe, secure, available, and fit for purpose in live operational environments.
Key Accountabilities:
- Operational Support & Service Management
- Maintain airport operational systems, mobile apps, devices, and integrations.
- Provide advanced support to manage incidents within agreed service levels.
- Coordinate service recovery with suppliers during major operational disruptions.
- Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring operational issues.
- Participate in the on-call rota for out-of-hours P1/P2 critical incidents.
- Monitoring & Operational Awareness
- Monitor system health dashboards proactively to identify operational risks.
- Track end-to-end workflows between airport systems, handlers, and partners.
- Escalate operational risks or service degradation to appropriate teams.
- Product, Change & Integration Support
- Coordinate testing, validation, and operational readiness for product upgrades.
- Verify operational data flows and system interfaces with external partners.
- Support onboarding for new airports, operational sites, devices, and suppliers.
- Assist Product Managers with live-environment change deployments.
- Security, Reporting & Governance
- Manage operational access requests and compliance permissions.
- Create service reports, dashboards, and trend analysis for decision-making.
- Use data insights to support supplier performance management.
- Stakeholder Coordination & Continuous Improvement
- Build strong relationships with Ground Operations, suppliers, and tech teams.
- Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Location & Hours of Work
This full-time role will be based in Luton, operating within a hybrid working model. Travel across the airport network and operational locations will be required where necessary. Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota for critical operational incidents is required as part of this role.
